About the Company

Bluesky unlimited is a development consultancy specialising in sustainability issues. Set up in 2006 by Ivan Ball the practice provides advice to the housebuilding and development industry in this emerging and increasingly important area.

With the growing awareness of climate change and global warming issues and almost daily media coverage homebuyers are becoming increasingly educated, and hence demanding, about available technologies and what constitutes, ‘sustainable communities’.

As former Group Director of Sustainable Communities at Linden Homes and Project Director for the acclaimed Linden developments of Caterham Barracks and Queen Elizabeth Park, Guildford, Ivan has an invaluable breadth of expertise in community engagement, planning, design, transport and energy strategies.

Ivan is also a licensed Ecohomes assessor and can undertake predictions, assessments and post construction reviews. The practice also undertakes sustainability studies and is able to advise on the most appropriate ways of meeting local authorities ‘10% renewable energy policies’.
